TROPIC COMPACT BREAKDOWN

There’s one thing that gets on fly anglers’ nerves more than anything… Wind. The Tropic Compact was designed for throwing large flies for a variety of species in the toughest tropic conditions.

We designed this line with an overly aggressive head featuring a short 20 ft. body that packs a serious punch. The compact body paired with a short 3 ft. front taper easily turns over large air resistant flies in heavy wind. The short 3 ft. back taper helps load this line quickly with minimal false casting. Just load and shoot.

This dual colored line features a braided nylon core with our signature Tropic Plus coating for withstanding the blistering heat while still remaining slick, supple and fast shooting. The yellow and aqua blue color combination distinguishes taper change and is traceable yet stealthy to any species you may be targeting.

The Tropic Compact is one of our most versatile lines for tropic species. Never lose shots at fish again due to large flies, high winds or gnarly conditions.
